  12. Local modem dealer is selling a generic v.34 external modem which is
  13. based on new AT&T chipset.

  15. Does anyone have info about this chipset, how does it compare to
  16. rockwell?

  18. I can't remember the name of the manufacturer (some Taiwan
  19. corp. probably anyway), but eprom upgrades should be possible.
